Great Lakes Eco Systems, Inc. Leverages Financial Incentives, Saves Customers Thousands
Saukville, Wis. – Great Lakes Eco Systems became a FOCUS ON ENERGY® Trade Ally contractor in 2016, starting a successful and busy collaboration.
Owner Bill Driscoll says his team has integrated the company’s relationship with Focus on Energy and the financial incentives available through the program into their sales pitch.
“We use the availability of rebates as our lead-in. Most businesses were not aware or did not know how to use them,” Driscoll said. “This has allowed us to complete 62 [Focus on Energy] projects in 14 months.”
Great Lakes has helped those customers upgrade to energy-efficient LED lighting and save a combined $84,000.
“The ability to have the incentive [check] sent to us has been a great success. When we tell the customer that we will take the rebate off up-front and do all the paperwork, you can see their relief, making the sale much easier,” Driscoll added.
Great Lakes has worked across various Focus on Energy programs, providing energy expertise to small businesses, farms, schools and municipalities. Driscoll said having a single incentive plan for all types of customers streamlines the process and, when he does have questions, his contact at Focus on Energy is always quick with an answer.
“I look forward to working with [Focus on Energy] as one of our most trusted partners for years to come.”
