Capital Brewery

Middleton-based Capital Brewery was founded in 1984 and has been brewing beer since 1986. The company worked with Focus on Energy and their utility, Madison Gas & Electric (MG&E), to complete two projects; including, the installation of a 13 kW solar Photovoltaic (PV) system and the installation of a high efficiency heat recovery system with controls. These equipment installations are helping the brewery save over 19,000 kWh and 4,000 Therms resulting in a savings of more than $4,500 annually on their utility bill.
