Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) offered this definition: “Taking a holistic approach to managing energy use in order to continuously improve energy performance by achieving persistent energy and cost savings over the long term.”

Focus on Energy: “To advance energy management capabilities and establish a continuous energy management improvement process resulting in low- and no-cost operational energy improvements.”

What is 50001 Ready™? Program and support offered free of charge by the U.S. Department of Energy (DoE) to provide recognition to organizations that develop an ISO-based energy management system (EnMS) without a registrar’s audit.

How to fit your business strategy into SEM and ISO 50001 Ready?
