Focus on Energy’s potential study was designed to provide the Commission with a detailed, up-to-date understand of how Wisconsin uses energy, and how Focus can help customers use energy more efficiently. The study indicates that Focus’ energy efficiency programming will be able to continue providing substantial energy savings for all ratepayers- from homeowners and apartment renters, to farms and schools, to office buildings and industrial plants- and will be able to sustain and expand upon its current overall success in cost-effectively reducing energy bills. The study also reinforces that Focus on Energy is one of the most cost-effective efficiency programs in the country. The information collected through the study will help the Public Service Commission and program staff make informed decisions going forward.
