LED Color Guide

By now, you’ve probably heard about ENERGY STAR® LED lighting and why it’s so great— LEDs last up to 25 times longer and use up to 90% less energy than incandescent bulbs.

Plus, LEDs come in a wide variety of styles, colors and temperatures, so you can find the right light for every room. Take a look at these LED color temperatures to ensure you get the bulb that best fits your needs:

Soft White/Warm White
These bulbs give off a light that’s very similar to standard incandescent bulbs. They’re great for bedrooms and other areas where you want to feel warm and cozy.

Bright White/Cool White
Bright or cool white bulbs are a bit “whiter” than Soft or Warm White bulbs. They’re most commonly used in kitchen areas and bathrooms.
